Intuitive Eating and Weight Loss, with Ela Law

Have you ever heard of Intuitive Eating?
Here's a clue - it's NOT anything to do with NOOM.
Intuitive eating is a simple idea about making peace with all types of food.
Unlike traditional diets that restrict/ban certain foods, intuitive eating encourages
listening to your body and eating what feels right for you.
In the words of, Evelyn Tribole (the co-founder of Intuitive Eating):
"Intuitive Eating is a self-care eating framework rooted in science and informed by clinical experience. " *
Along with the recent surge in popularity for Intuitive Eating, comes co-opting by diet culture, specifically well known diet brands like NOOM and WW talking about food freedom AND intentional weight loss, as if one were compatible with the other.
I invited my guest today Nutritionist, Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor and my good mate, Ela Law to give you clarity on all of the above. If you have struggled to find peace with your body or true acceptance, this episode is a great place to start and I truly hope it will be helpful for you.
Ela's passion is to support her clients in gaining life-long tools to develop a more peaceful relationship with food and their bodies and to enjoy life.
